Cassidy Medical Centre and Kings Road Medical Centre are partnering with Imperial College London Self-Care Academic Research Unit (SCARU) on a study called STOPNOW.
The main objective of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of an online triage system for smoking cessation. The study will inform us if the online system is effective for patients, and can lead to faster access to smoking cessation support.
All data collected from the study will be anonymised, which means the data will be collected in such a way that no information can identify patients. Patient details will not be made available to the study evaluation team at Imperial College London. Only data collected from the triage system will be made available to the study team – this is simply responses to a set of questions.
